Truck Drivers Wanted

As a driver you will be the face of The Produce Company and it is therefore essential that you possess fantastic customer service and communication skills as well as a high level of presentation.

This position is deemed a safety sensitive position and we will require pre-employment drug testing, we will also require Police Vetting of candidates.


Hours:

  • Rotating Roster
  • Night Shift 12.00am or 2.00am till 8.30am or 10.30am

In a hands on role you will be responsible for:

  • Manual loading & unloading of trucks
  • Delivering crates of fruit, vegetables, meat & dairy products
  • Washing / preservation of vehicles
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised

To succeed in this role you will possess:

  • A class 1 drivers licence
  • A clean driving record
  • Sound knowledge of the Auckland roads
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • A sold work ethic, be punctual and reliable
  • You must be physically fit as this is a manual and physically demanding role

Packers Wanted

Are you results focused, enjoy working in a fast paced environment and an excellent team player? Then this could be the job for you – we are on the lookout for a Packer to join our ever growing team. This position will see you working on a 6 week rotation roster.

In a hand’s on role you will be responsible for:

  • Packing of orders, ensuring quality of produce going out is top notch
  • Weighing orders and entering weights into database
  • Correct storage of product, placing orders onto trucks
  • Most importantly, you will be focused on procuring fresh product and will be committed to providing our customers with only the best in service and standards.

  • Excellent attention to detail with basic PC skills
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • A sound work ethic, be punctual and reliable

Purpose

To manage the Customer services, Contact Centre and Telesales functions

To oversee administrative & reporting requirements within the Cust Service area

To develop and manage new and existing sales opportunities

To ensure that all customer needs are met

To represent the business in a professional manner

To use internal and market analysis to improve the performance of the business

 

Specific Duties

Manage / grow existing customer, channel & category base through an effective customer mgmt., customer service, telesales and complaint process, prioritizing workloads as required

Identify / develop strategies to enhance business & build customer retention

Support business development with referral, lead generation / follow up

Support Trade Marketing / activation through planning, targeting and execution

Work cross functionally with Field Sales and Operations regarding delivery execution, QC and complaint protocols to manage customer concerns

Develop and maintain strong internal and external business relationships

Maintain effective trade relations to understand & report on trends, industry insights

Monitor and report on competitor activity – price, new products and other market initiatives

Contribute to team culture, vision and values through behavior, engagement and support of colleagues

Serve the business in good faith, promoting and protecting the business’s best interests.

 

General responsibilities

Skills, Experience & Education

Relevant experience in a business, management or sales related role

Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to write and deliver proposals and presentations.

Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills, and the ability to close deals
