The Covid-19 pandemic is an unprecedented global event that will have a major impact on the livelihoods of everyone, especially those working in our industry.
We want to let you know what we are doing in response to Coronavirus.
The wellbeing of our customers and team members is our utmost priority.
We’d also like to notify you that we are no longer allowing the collection of orders from our office until further notice.
We have always had thorough cleaning, hygiene and food safety processes right through our supply chain. We operate an MPI registered customised Food Control Plan, which sets out the processes and standards that we follow, to ensure any food we supply is safe and of high quality.
We have put in place even more cleaning and sanitising facilities throughout the company, including hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes at every packing station and vehicle.
We’re also following the Ministry of Health’s guidelines around hand-washing and cleaning, and have reinforced this with all our teams. Our staff are across all health and safety protocols as advised by the Ministry of Health.
In an effort to implement social distancing, we will no longer be accepting social visits from Account Managers to our office until further notice.
This does not apply to delivery drivers, as we are still accepting delivery of goods. However, our Inwards Good Team will endeavour to maintain a 2-metre distance from delivery drivers at all times.
Our Inwards Team will also not be physically signing for goods, instead, they will verbally provide a name which we will ask your driver to record.
The well-being of our customers, suppliers and team members is our utmost priority. We ask for your support in ensuring the above message is communicated across your business and to anyone that will engage with us.
All of us acknowledge the gravity of this situation and are taking cleanliness very seriously.
This unprecedented situation is evolving day by day and we will keep you updated on any necessary changes to our service.
